Keep the April Fools Clocks
complete
DAG-XR
Just in case if the addition of the extra clocks are removed on April 2nd, I'm placing a canny here to petition to keep it as a permanent feature.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community What is the formula used for Star Date?

Docteh The answer here is more complicated than you think. (and there's very little I like talking about more than complicated, obscure Star Trek trivialities)
A "stardate" is a fictional time system used by Star Trek. However, Star Trek has had many iterations, as it's a franchise that has been around since the 1960s. It's expressed as a number of digits with a decimal seperator.
Each series has different definitions and sometimes those definitions are murky and shift within the same series. Memory Alpha's article is a good primer.
Our calculation was derived from a combination of the Stardate wiki page, as well as a GitHub repo which re-implemented a now-defunct PHP script on a Star Trek fan site, which _itself_ referenced this page.
Here's a very rough, untested psuedocode python implementation of our method

Please don't let this disappear after the April hype ends. It's so beautiful.

I didn't have a chance to log in on April 1st and poke around, hopefully someone took a screenshot they can share?
lackofbindings
Or at least the actually useful ones (especially off and session duration)

lackofbindings no way! being able to switch to nonsense clocks is great. it honestly goes a long way to have some persistent functionality that demonstrates a humanized nature- such as the devs sharing humour with the users. this is very comfortable.
