Increase Group Join Limit for Event Calendar
narazaka
Currently, the EVENT CALENDAR ONLY SHOWS EVENTS FROM GROUPS YOU HAVE JOINED. However, even with VRC+, the limit is only 200 groups, so if you want to join many events, you'll quickly hit that cap. This is especially true if you are also in groups that don't host events, such as communities or groups attend to a stance.
The discussions of groups have proposed due to the event calendar (it can provide a reason for events that were not hosted by groups to move into groups).
If the group join limit is not likely, it will no longer reflect the actual situation.
Currently, the event calendar only shows events for groups that you have joined. However, even with VRC+, the maximum limit is only 200 groups, and if you want to participate in many events, you'll quickly reach the limit. This is especially true if you belong to a community that doesn't host events or a group that represents your claim.
The importance of groups has increased dramatically due to the event calendar (events that have not been held in groups until now may be the reason for transitioning to groups), and if the upper limit on the number of group members is not increased, I think it will not match the actual situation.

I completely agree with this.
In the past, the current number of group memberships would not have posed any issue. However, with the introduction of the excellent event calendar feature, which now allows players to check events directly within the game, I believe that the importance of joining groups has increased.
While the number of community-based groups may not be particularly large at present, I expect that their significance will continue to grow as the group features are further developed.
For this reason, I am in favour of increasing the number of memberships.

Of course, there are many “non-eventual groups,” such as stance groups, friend circles, and various others. However, the pressure for events to require groups represents a great deal of stress, as it forces people to leave those groups.
Of course, there are many assertive groups, friend neighborhood groups, and various other “groups unrelated to the event,” but the stress of having to leave them due to the pressure that events become essential as a group is very high.
