Allow users to follow creators so they see when they have released a new world or avatars.
It may work best with just worlds for now.
So for example if I upload a world and someone likes that world and wishes to see more from me they can follow me and when I upload a new map it will show up under a playlist. Similar to favourites etc.. Lets say you allow users to follow up to 3 creators so they get to see their worlds under 3 seperate playlists.
Or you could have 1 playlist which is just called Following and only shows worlds from creators you follow.

There's a ton of worlds being uploaded everyday, and I found a few creators that I really like. But even them using Twitter, it's hard to track every upload they did. I hope there's a way inside VRChat to get notified when a new world is uploaded by those I want to follow, or even expand this to following people who held events ingame, so we don't have to check everything outside of VRChat.

Wonderful idea! Especially now with the new profiles I think it would be a great feature. Currently the discovery within VRChat is very poor in my opinion.
*The display of player's followers could create the "popularity contest" mentality BUT I think it should be also added to allow easy discovery of "most popular creators".
*Adding the player's "isFollowing" status to UDON could also result in some weird interactions on worlds like "follow and like to enter" but maybe could be added as well.

a "new from your favorites" section that collects the authors from your favorite worlds list would also get the job done

Wait this would actually be really cool. Creators could have followers and be able to check a feed which shows when public avis / worlds of theirs has received an update, and the SDK could be updated to add a 'update note' section. On top of that, users can optionally subscribe to the feed to receive notifications for all the creators updates (avi + world) or specifically for a world.

this would help a lot for people into horror content and the content creator is well known for making them. instead of having to find their profile and see if they created any recently.
