Like to see how hackers abuse the feature, if added. If its treated the same as regular portal behavior, then im in.

A revamp to the portal placement system so that you can place them on surfaces could be interesting. It will then orient the portal based on the surface you place it on, such as a floor.

Only issue I can see with this idea is that people can abuse it in situations where there are hallways, such as the Pug. Should trust that people won't do that though. I'll give this ab upvote

LoneEevee: yeah this was a problem for a while, but the trade-off for me is worth it. sometimes it's great to be able to transport people when they interact with something. maybe if a portal is opened by a person then you see the name of who opened it, and that way you could report someone easily if they abused this feature.

an absolute must have. Sometimes I have so much trouble trying to line up properly to go through a portal and it gets super frustrating, going forward and it not working then I gotta back up and align and go forward again, and then it doesn't work, so I gotta back up and align and go forward and then it doesn't work, then I gotta back up and align and go forward. You get the idea, but a floortal should totally remove that issue, just walk over it and boom teleportation. It would be so nice.
