Fixed Foveated Rendering on PC

I'd like to request adding Fixed Foveated Rendering on PC, possibly using variable-rate shading similar to the implementation in this tool: https://github.com/fholger/vrperfkit
This is a separate feature request to FSR upscaling, although the tool mentioned offers both.
This technique offers a very large performance increase on GPU-constrained hardware, and particularly important for those using higher-resolution VR headsets. I've measured frame-time reductions of up to 30% on a Valve Index, depending on radii settings.

This is becoming more relevant with a built-in tool available in Unity 6/Unity 6.1 called "XR foveated rendering". Currently, this is only a Steam Link option, but if built-in support existed for it, more middleware type apps(Virtual Desktop, Quest Link) may be able to support this.

I have heard that the EAC will make many mods unusable, so we are faced with the need to implement this feature.
