I'd like to request adding Fixed Foveated Rendering on PC, possibly using variable-rate shading similar to the implementation in this tool: https://github.com/fholger/vrperfkit
This is a separate feature request to FSR upscaling, although the tool mentioned offers both.
This technique offers a very large performance increase on GPU-constrained hardware, and particularly important for those using higher-resolution VR headsets. I've measured frame-time reductions of up to 30% on a Valve Index, depending on radii settings.
