Feedback regarding concerns over viewpoint scaling

First, incase you don't know. Viewpoint scaling is a feature where animations from the avatar roots scale, would also scale up the viewpoint. Before this was possible with a mod called scale goes brrr.
I have seen some really cool stuff being done with this. Some people just setup a basic slider for their size, that was easy and quick to do. But some people put in more time into make really creative systems with this. For example, ive seen people who instead of a slider, had a bunch of toggles for their size, and could control the speed at which they would grow or shrink. And others combined it with the avatar dynamics, they would have a remote in their hand which could control other peoples size for who also had it set up. But sadly all of this stuff doesn't work anymore now, and ive seen some of the vrchat team voice some concerns over this feature which i would like to leave my feedback on.
Ive seen some concerns about the social aspect of this. The example given was that lets say youre talking to somebody and suddenly theyre 300 meters tall, next moment theyre 20cm tall. How would that make you feel.
Well first off all, this is not an issue that is created by viewpoint scaling, this is already possible without by switching into larger or smaller avatars. The extra steps needed to make an avatar scale like that with animations means that i dont think this is gonna change much in this regard for how often this annoyance might occur. Also even it was i would imagine that the novelty would soon wear of for this, as people being annoying can find lots of other means to be annoying too.
From my experience with scale goes brrr, the vast majority of people are really kind, and didnt use it to annoy people in public. They used it to have fun with other people who also like to interact with size related activities.
And even then, you could always just block another users animations if you someone really is bothering you with them scaling up or down.
If you look in the avatars3.0 feedback section you can find a post regarding this feature (avatar remeasure) with quite a large amount of upvotes, almost 400.
I really believe that this is a feature that would really benefit a lot of people, and would make a lot of people very happy if it was introduced into the game.

Would love this, I have to deal with uploading 3 different versions of the same avi to cater to either the friend group I was with or what kind of mood I was in. Resizing or at least being able to animate you viewpoint/colliders would be so, so nice.

In addition, in terms of 'size griefing', this is something that could be mitigated a couple of ways. For example, it could be world limited, world builders could have the option to set a max size though some may dislike this if they do something such as enforce human sizes only for people who prefer being just a bit bigger.
Alternatively, an optional safety setting could exist to let you set a max size cap and prevent people from getting above a certain size locally on your client.
I'm uncertain if a similar minimum size option would be desired.

Scaling has always been a massive annoyance for me when it comes to public avatars especially, I'll find a nice avatar and it's practically unusable because it's ridiculously too small or too big for me. It's not like I could fix the scale myself either.
