Fake Countdown
Hackebein
In the store the countdown resets and autorestarts with less then 24h for a couple days already.
Fake counter is in EU is a so called dark pattern and are not allowed. There are currently 3 active ongoing court cases on theses in my country: OLG Frankfurt (Az. 6 U 128/25), LG Düsseldorf (Az. 38 O 209/2025), and LG Deggendorf (Az. 1 HK 0 6/25).
Please remove this fake counters and provide real countdowns.

What you wrote is, at best, a misunderstanding and, at worst, simply untrue.
In those three rulings, time-limited offers were not banned — the courts prohibited dark patterns. A time-limited offer is of course still allowed. As long as these items are not re-released again afterwards, everything is perfectly fine.

Assuming good faith here that this was done due to last minute delays, I think a more elegant solution to dealing with a delay would be to simply remove the countdown entirely or replace it with a vague "leaving soon" message while a new date is decided to avoid accidentally performing this sketchy 'fake countdown' practice.
That being said, there really shouldn't be last minute changes to countdowns on limited purchases like this in the first place
