EXR File Format for Photos

The EXR file format allows for easier compositing in post. It stores all sorts of information, but most notably, HDR and z-depth/g-buffer.
Using ARGBFloat textures, it should be possible to capture the color, HDR, and z-depth information and store them into a single 32 or 16 bit EXR file. This would mean that creators would have much greater control of their photos in post (or possibly even videos).
