Until recently, the badge system offered only a rather limited selection, so it is encouraging to see a broader variety of badges now available. I would like to propose taking this a step further by allowing badges to be awarded to creators as well.
For example:
  • World creators could receive badges based on the number of favourites or visits their worlds have accumulated.
  • Developers could be recognised with badges for maintaining up-to-date wikis and documentation, or perhaps — although this may be more challenging — for their contributions on platforms such as Canny.
  • For avatar creators, I do not have as many concrete ideas yet, but their contributions to the creator economy could serve as a good starting point.
Of course, it remains important to continue rewarding those who support VRChat financially; however, I believe it is equally important to recognise the creators who help sustain the community.
I would greatly appreciate your consideration of this suggestion.
