I didn't even know this was a thing since tool tips on in general are annoying and lessens immersion. There should be an option to show what buttons says without needing to have the controllers show up.

Noting that we're still tracking on this internally and have an issue linked to this post.

common just do it already, it only requires them to remove the UI Layer from the camera component. 10s fix...
you can workaround this by turning off tooltips in your settings, but then you don't get to see them from your PoV

Any updates on this?

Disable Controller Skeletons and Tooltips in VRC Camera
Compatible
With it's current implementation, the VRC Camera will display tooltips and controller skeletons in pictures if a user is holding/hovering over an interactable.
I believe this to be unintended behavior, as it leads to such instances where pictures may be ruined for some who do not want their controllers visible in their pictures.
Here are some examples taken with the VRC Camera.

I wish I would still be able to see a controller skeleton with wmr, but yeah. Taking pictures and then seeing that the tooltips are also in that picture is frustrating
Mimi
Just disable the skeleton all together. It's immersion breaking and trust me, I didn't forget where my controllers are
Glitch Izanami
I feel like toggling it would be nice because as a fullbody user, using it to align where my eyes are on an avatar is useful when setting it up

Glitch Izanami: Yes, an overall toggle would be even better, so you could still read tooltips but not have this GIANT controller everytime you are near an interact. (At the very very least, I'd just like to not have photos ruined.)

An option to turn them off in general would be great. It's not immersive and pretty useless after a few minutes (except for unlabelled triggers)
