Whenever I make a first or use my triggers on Oculus Rift in VRC, without grabbing something, the controller(s) rumble. I'm not sure if it always was like this, I'm not sure it's on VRC's end or due to SteamVR. Because I noticed it after I reinstalled SteamVR but maybe I just didn't notice it before or it was added to VRC recently or it's a bug in VRC. When I use the Meta software to run VRC it doesn't happpen.
But if it's a VRC thing, then it's first of all a bad design choice to have rumble go off when you close your hand, doesn't make sense to get feedback for that. Second, and what this post really is about, if it is intentional and not a bug. Please add a toggle to turn this off.
There should really be general haptic settings in VRC. And all haptics should work the same regardless of software/hardware running VRC.
