The current way desktop personal mirror 'playspace' tracking works is a bit unintuitive from a design standpoint--it almost functions exactly the same to the head tracking however it doesn't tilt.
I would like to propose a change where using your mouse doesn't move the overall position of the desktop playspace, but when using the arrow keys to turn your camera (< and >), it does move. This would mimic the way that when turning your head in VR, it stays in the same real world position, but when using the joysticks to rotate, it rotates your entire playspace.
The reason for this change is because I prefer using playspace mirror tracking in VR, and there is no real equivalent to it in desktop, forcing me to change from world -> playspace every time I play on a different platform.
