In the join-leave-notification of the worldUDON gimmick, green and red were assigned to the join and the leave, respectively, so that the join and leave could be recognized at a glance when they were joined or leaved.
Implementing this in the main menu2 would allow the user to determine whether they have joined or leaved faster than reading the text.

ଳ̴̖̕: There are many useless strings. (It is strange that "your instance" is displayed even though you are not the instance owner.)
Because the letters are small, it is not immediately clear who has left or who has entered.

This is a good idea actually. Could reduce the wording of the notifications to just have the user's name, as well as colour code the notification box green or red (as well as respective icons) to indicate whether that user joined or left respectively like you mentioned. Since we just got colour filters to aid colour blindness, this shouldn't be too bad.

The color visibility induction should immediately tell you that someone has joined and that the person who has joined is one of your friends.
