Assessibility Setting for Disabling Audiolink / Audio Reactive Effects
chịsa
Now that the official VRC quest shader includes audiolink, we need a way to disable this for users with photosensitivities. Please add an accessibility setting to disable audiolink / audio reactive effects for these users.

What version of the SDK do I need to use to see this new audiolink stuff? I haven't heard of audiolink on quest before

Docteh I wanted to ask the same question. I made a bug report.

Audiolink contains some non audio-related metadata eg:SyncNetTime. For the purposes of this Accessibility feature targeting Reactive Effects Ideally metadata pixels are left intact.
Currently photosensitive PC users can locally disable the audio reactive elements of Audiolink via a shader on their avatar. However Mobile users can't as custom avatar shaders are not supported for non-PC platforms. This feature request targets accessibility feature parity for all platforms.

Maybe this could connect to system accessibility preferences, so worlds could read things like Prefers Reduced Motion or Prefers High Contrast settings from the host computer/phone? at least by default or maybe imported on first run
