Allow separately selectable audio output device for voices and other game audio
X-90
Similar to VOIP programs that allow voice communications to go through a separate audio device. For example, Voice comms through headphones/HMD and world/avatar audio through speakers or mirror HMD device.
This allows for other uses such as audio comms ducking and OS adjustable volume like the hardware audio adjust buttons on the PiMax and Vive Pro 2

Bumping this, having separate audio sources would be an absolute game changer for big events that run an event stream or want to do recordings to not need to use an alt account with voices off to run the stream. Also the use cases such as using an open ear headset for voices while putting the world music on speakers to increase immersion is something I know quite a few people who would use that if it was an option...

Necroing this for visibility this is needed even more so with the addition of drones and the dolly system i would love to be able to film and not have to turn off everyone's voices just to do so.

This here is a great idea for avoiding content ID strikes.

If thats not still a Unity restriction/limitation - which I got as feedback when talking about this exact thing with a vrc-dev friendo a couple years ago

Please prioritize this feature it would significantly improve user experience.

Would be amazing for events, so you can record with no voices, but stil communicate ingame via voip

This would be huge for allowing users to use their full sound system for music while keeping users voices in the headset.

being able to mute voices or have them as a separate track in a recording / stream would makes things a lot more convenient

This would be helpful for movies / comms also. I'd like to be able to use my speaker system but hear my friends through my headset for example. Hopefully something like this can get implemented relatively soon

It would be amazing to have this feature as a more generic setting that will allow the user to configure different audio buses and select output devices for each one, as well as accessible by world creators for custom audio output.
For example, music in a club world or low frequency effects channel from a 5.1 audio source can be directed directly to a subwoofer or a haptics device for a more faithful experience. Configurable camera audio output available as a separate audio bus is another great example.
