With the new performance ranking system, the use of excessive dynamic bones (or of colliders at all) will cause a large reduction to the performance rank of an avatar. To help allow for dynamic bones effects to still be used, while mitigating the performance impact, the same optimization being done for IK computations could be done for the dynamic bones physics as well.
This would of course make features like https://vrchat.canny.io/feature-requests/p/enable-interaction-with-friends-dynamic-bones potentially more difficult to implement due to synchronization issues between the two clients, and so should probably be an option that the avatar creator and/or player could adjust depending on their needs; simple use cases like hair, breasts, etc would not need to interact with other players and should therefore not need to be evaluated on every client.
