So, there is a problem with people uploading adult content, in stickers, prints, emojis, avatars, and worlds that could potentially expose underage people to 18+ content. So instead of suspending someone with a sticker or print with explicit adult content, what if people who are 18+ verified actually were to be able to label their content as NSFW, and can only be visible to those 18+ verified? And this doesn’t just apply to worlds and avatars, it also applies to photos, prints, stickers, and emojis.
The point isn’t to ban adult content and suspend people, the point is to add an adult content label that can only be accessed and viewable with 18+ verification. That way people who aren’t 18+ verified won’t be exposed to adult content.
And a little thing to mention, when you upload a sticker, emoji, or photo, VRChat can automatically detect if that image has adult content and deny it being uploaded. So instead of outright denying the image to be uploaded because of adult content, it automatically puts the adult content label on the image.
VRChat doesn’t just count as a “video game”. It counts as a social platform as well. So content labeling like this would be really helpful.
