Addressing Admin Response to User Pushback
Blizzball
“We have more planned and are gathering more information to understand and address more of your needs.”
You already have all the information you need and understand exactly what we want. You have for years. You have access to the MelonAssistant just like everyone else. Every mod in that list was developed because you failed to respond to feedback requests on your own website or on discord.
There are two ways to fix this. The first is to rapidly develop every single mod that has made it to the Melon assistant and add them as optional free content.
The second is to implement a way for content creators to create code similar to how we can create worlds and avatars. Unlike worlds and avatars, code based content must be checked and green lit before being added to a browsable library within the game. Alternatively, use Steam Workshop.
Regardless of the choice, EAC should still be rolled back. As proven by record numbers of malicious modders and crashers mere hours after EAC was implemented, it essentially does nothing to stop dedicated modded client creators. Additionally, while it does this whole lot of nothing, it also negatively impacts performance.
