I have been around for awhile now in VRC and I have noticed a growing number of children under the ages of 9 and younger coming into the VRC worlds and harassing normal players. I would like to request to add a report under-aged player to the report forms to help deal with these problems and set an understanding that rules must be upheld. Otherwise They're just going to think they can do what ever they wish without consequences and sexual predators are going to attack these children. I have heard such cases in vr already to have happened from others I have met the youngest being 5 years of age.

Probably would be way too much backlash from children, probably just make users under 18 unable to see anything that is related to anything sexual or NSFW. Also just don't even allow children to goof around as much as they do. Its very annoying. The biggest reason I want children to not be able to see sexually related avatars is because of people who think its fun to sexually harass children in vr (let alone irl).

i want vrchat to be 18 plus only. it should be a adult game not for kids there are so many kids wearing nudity avatars in this game and its wrong! i hope vrchat will fix the age thing! or make anthoer game for kids only. that would be better!

I want to addon to this if someone is confirmed to be under 13 and banned said ban should also be forwarded to the meta account or steam depending on the platform. Both of them don't allow under 13. Steam will restrict the account and meta will lock the headset.

I would appreciate an update on the expected timeline for this feature, as well as any details on the current challenges or considerations that are affecting its release.

We are seeing a slow rollout of changes made to the Community Guidelines (See attachment), but there needs to be a way that users can report accounts suspected of being underaged in the VRChat platform via the in app moderation tools.
I am asking for VRChat to please provide an update to this feature request either via the reply to this Canny, or via the Developer Update patch notes.
This is something that the community clearly cares a lot about, and I speak for myself when I say that I want more transparency so I can feel safer knowing my mature conversations with friends stay far away from minors.
Age verification was a good first step, now we need in game reporting tools incase someone is account sharing, or bypassing identification in some way.
Most forget that each kid has different circumstances, and a parent may not be in the picture.
Its important to remember that, and try and keep kids out of mature spaces.
Be an advocate. Speak up, because change starts with action, even if its annoying to do.

for players who are falsely reported as minors could give ID identification to prove their an adult or over the age, but in return the person who filed the false claims would have a strike to their name for falsely report. that way it doesn't become an abused system.

It's crazy to me that this still hasn't be implemented in some way. With more players being able to use the mobile app, it's only gonna get worse and worse till VRChat does something about it. Last night, I heard some kid that had to have been 4 or 5 playing this game. It's so gross that this is even a problem that VRC faces.

VRChat really needs to address this issue. There are far too many young children using the platform unsupervised. I've personally witnessed adults saying and doing extremely inappropriate things toward minors, and there’s not always someone around to intervene. It's disturbing, and it puts these kids in serious danger. We need a better system to report underage users and protect vulnerable players.

I've reported many people in the past for explicitly stating they're underage and VRChat still hasn't removed their accounts. Seriously can't happen so enough. Its crazy this has gone mostly unanswered for around 5 years atp

I would like for the option to report users wearing the 18+ badge and yet somehow still a minor. It blows my mind that they're getting their parents to do the whole verification thing and getting away with it, I never thought I'd have to kick someone from an instance for having an 18+ badge and being a minor.

But it happened.
