I have a lot of users looking to quickly upload test avatars & maps without locking in their shaders. Having a way to identify when an upload is a test upload would allow people to insert debug data and lower performance shaders into test builds without allowing them to upload slow debug variants to the public servers.
My only other option is to allow players to upload without locking in which I honestly don't think players will use responsibly resulting in a massively laggy shader and game.
