Pretty much the title~
Right now, it should be obvious, it's not in the beta. But controllers such as the Rift and WMR definitely have the capability for some basic finger tracking, even if the middle, ring, and pinky are all on the same button. It'd still be a godsend for people like me who use sign language as a communication method in VRC.
Plus the gesture toggle system looks so useful! Being able to separate my fingers and my facial expressions!

As stated in our Blog post (https://medium.com/@vrchat/vrchat-valve-index-support-and-the-gesture-toggle-system-742ec3ae016e) this is the eventual plan. We're working on implementing as much of the Index Controller featureset (such as Gesture Toggle or limited finger "tracking") into other controllers as the hardware permits.
