The bug report for the line break character breaking in the 1400 open-beta was closed due to the change not being a bug, but rather related to input sanitisation, and as such has broken functionality in OSC apps.

I'd like to request that either the line break character is whitelisted or a special string case (for example: </br>) is given to be used as a replacement without sacrificing complete input sanitisation.
