[1311] Allow scaling beyond the 0.2m~5m limit

I understand that these specific numbers were chosen because these are the numbers you can have before your avatar gets hit with a very poor ranking.
The solution I propose in this case is to have a box that can be checked off in the avatar descriptor during upload. If checked, you can set your own personal minimum and maximum size, and if either number is past the limit, you will get hit with the very poor rating no matter what size you are.
If a world enforces limits via Udon then that takes priority as is already the case.

Keeping the default between 0.2m to 5.0m makes sense because any bigger than that can be obnoxious in worlds not designed for it, but world authors should be allowed to uncap scaling completely imo (or at least like 0.001m to 1,000m)

I can see why this is wished, though i personally would like to see a "personal limit" I may be able to set, so people outside said limit would be replaced by a "sign" or whatever telling me "hey, this user is currently scaled outside your set limit, show avatar to override your limit for this user" like we sort of do with download sizes and performance rank already. Why a "sign"? - a simple object would probably way easier to implement than a "normally scaled" fallback or similar. Someone being about 3-5m tall is fineish, personally i get annoyed and feel discomfort when someone is rocking an 8m tall avatar and constantly getting close/clipping into my view.

Hopefully we can see the limit go between 0.1~10m as the limit for users without Udon

I get that they have a majority Quest player population, but this really feels like forced Quest compatibility. If I'm primarily a PCVR player, why do I need to limit myself to Quest performance if me and my friends all have computers that can push better performance and interactions?
I would love to see this limit be set up in a way that makes it so anything outside of the .2m - 5m range would make it incompatible for Quest; but still usable and playable on PCVR. It would at least be a step in the right direction in terms of implementation.
TLDR: Sure, make it a limit for quest and mobile compatibility; but don't restrict EVERYONE for one platform. This feels like a blanket "fix" for something that wasn't broken. ESPECIALLY when other platforms have implemented scaling already

I would love to see the scaling limit go lower than 0.2m! That's still a whopping 7.8 inches tall!
At the moment I can get to 0.02m, with the "forced" near clipping option on and still can access my menu.
Make it so the forced near-clip automatically gets turned on if the game detects the player getting small enough where it might be an issue.

since they added the dynamic camera option to desktop, my menu would work just fine at my 0% scaler size which is super tiny, i have no problems playing the game with that option enabled as a tiny, so just remove the cap and just auto enable dynamic camera for whoever that goes under 0.2m size if they dont have it already enabled

Height effects performance rank? Performance rank system just keeps getting more useless, its based off like a 970 (nobody uses) anyway

Cіnnabun: That's what I've heard on their discord, though I've never personally tested it myself. What I can say for certain is that those are the two extremes where the SDK says "Hey you should maybe not do this! Don't complain if it breaks!" compared to the much more mild "Excuse me but you are extremely tall/short" that you get for existing outside of like 1-2m

Cіnnabun: I wonder how many avatars the 970 can handle with all poor avatars. If it's not capable of 82 I think performance ranks are fine for now

I agree, allows for more freedom in world where scrict sizes aren't needed while also allowing game worlds to say set a min-max height. Just fleshes out the feature more, and allows for more creativity. (I.e Kaiju games, toying with worlds as people are on them as if it's a miniature, etc.)
Also the limits feel pretty arbitrary
McHarbleBarf
Additionally, I know menus get buggy at above/below certain sizes. A warning could be implemented when going beyond the safe limit that lets users know "Hey stuff'll get weird" (but obviously more former) with an option to confirm or deny the change. As for if the world sets you to above this limit, having an option in the settings to force keep you in the "safe" zone could be made. (Or something similar)
(unless said menu issues somehow get fixed in which case no need but I imagine it's not as easy as 123, though I do appreciate the camera/mirrors being fixed)
