Some groups may be strict with who gets accepted. It would be interesting to add optional context as to why you would like to join the group (e.g. "I'm so fascinated with cars, and I would like to join this car community! I'm a mechanic IRL."), perhaps mention a referral (e.g. "DAG-XR told me about this group, and I would like to join!").

It would help users wiggle into a more private community, versus just a name and a request to join.
