[1065] Feedback: Include your Favorited Avatars as a Quest fallback avatar
Hammey
Right now we are only able to select from VRChats own provided avatars or your own as a quest fallback avatar and it would be nice to have the option to use favorited avatars as well

This really is needed. Making a nice avatar quest compatible can be a lot of work, and with the up and coming performance fallback option. There are a number of quest compatible and "performant" options amongst public avatars that could be well used for many people.

Excellent idea, but there's some significant design considerations to take into account. We'll circle back around to this in the future.
Moving back to Open status and to the Feature Requests board.

Hi, I just thought of something:
What about having a Quest Compatible favorites list that you could add to only if the Quest performance rank of the avatar is set to good or higher?
Could look like this (done in MS paint):

If an avatar doesn't meet performance requirements for it to be used as fallback avatar (medium or higher on Quest platform), then there could be some sort of indication about it on avatar list, since us PC users do not know performance ratings of Quest builds of avatars.

Asovrix: Good or higher, actually-- and you can't mark those avatars as fallbacks in the SDK unless it hits those requirements.
This is part of the complication, btw. Due to technical reasons, there's no way (currently) for a PC user to know the perf rank of the Quest version of the avatar. That's why we've worked around it in this manner.
