On index controllers the wrists are rotated significantly differently than before the update. Everything attached to the wrists is now off, including any props. Included is a photo showing how the axies differ. The in menu wrist rotation does not fix the issue.

Avatar's hand angle is misaligned on Valve Index controller.
Namekotuki
Since the recently introduced Steam VR Input 2.0 update was applied, the avatar's hand angle has been tilted inward on the Valve Index controller.
There is no change when Legacy Fingers is turned on.
The avatar's hand angle can be changed in the VRChat settings, but not the twist or left/right adjustment, so this cannot be resolved by changing the settings.
This problem was observed in OpenBeta and reported as a Feature Request, but it was never improved.

Hand position changed

So with the recent update it appears that the hands position has been rotated upwards. While the change is subtle but for people like me who have thousands of hours on vrc it just mentally messes with us and doesnt feel right. So if this could be reverted it would be highly appreciated!

This is also happening with Quest controllers. It's a widespread issue on all devices. I am forced to use the built-in wrist angle setting for now

This happened on my Vive wands aswell! not just index. Wrist angle feels off now. Add a slider to adjust wrist angle, plenty of VR games have that option too.. it's not that hard.. vrc team please listen to people's reports.
DrBlackRat
CatherineCats they already have a slider for that.
You can find it in the Tracking & IK settings.

DrBlackRat That doesn't change the horizontal? wrist angle, only vertical. The hands appear more rotated towards the thumb sides is what i meant.
ZenithVal
DrBlackRat Yeah, unfortunately that slider can't solve it as more than just one axis has changed.

Me too.
On Valve index controller, Already loaded the default bindings and tried some other avatars but every one has this bug now for me.

To the dev team, this is the feedback report while open beta: https://feedback.vrchat.com/open-beta/p/1482hand-angle-is-slightly-off-on-the-index-controller

It sucks cause I noticed that issue when testing the Open Beta branch, I honestly thought they would fix that before pulling that update to everyone,
I was alright with all formers update but this one I got a very bad opinion of it;
Wrist Angle like you said is different, it infuriates me a lot because even trying to re-adjust the wrist angle in the existing slider setting, it's not entirely perfect because it is offset on the position.
Default triggers sensitivity on quest touch controllers are WAY too high (70% pressed) which makes hard for peoples to press buttons on the UI.
Radial Menu prevents you to move unless you have One Handed Mode enabled.
If there was a way to revert to the previous version I would gladly do.
