VRChat fails to launch when Discord is running.

1： Open Discord.
Discordを開く。
2： Press the VRChat start button on Steam.
SteamのVRChat起動ボタンを押す。
3： EAC stops in the middle of loading and the window disappears.
EACがロード途中で止まりウィンドウが消える。
4： The start button for VRChat on Steam reverts to Play and nothing happens as it is.

I will add that I have found a way to deal with this in my environment.
I was able to prevent the problem of failed startup by setting Discord to not detect VRChat in the activity settings.
I think the problem is caused by the update of Discord on Nov. 2, which made the EAC false detection, but I don't know the details.
私の環境での対処方法が見つかったので追記します。
Discordのアクティビティ設定で、VRChatを検出しない様に設定する事で起動失敗する問題を防ぐことが出来ました。
Discordの11/2のアップデートでEACが誤検知する様になった事が原因に思えますが、詳細は不明です。

same here if discord is running i have to run launch.exe in admin mode for vrchat to launch if i instead turn off discord and first launch vrchat i do not need to run launch.exe in admin mode
Update Turning off hardware acceleration in discord advanced settings fixes this and lets vrchat launch like normal. Might this also be a AMD issue im running a 6900xt on latest drivers
Update after toggling hardware acceleration off and back on Vrchat now launches like normal no matter the state of hw acc

We solved it here as well, and turning off hardware acceleration did not solve the problem.
Also, running as administrator failed to boot.
I am also using an AMD CPU, Ryzen5 3600.

The version of Discord is up to date.
Looking at Twitter, it seems there are three ways to fix it
Closing Discord fixes it.
Removed Virtual Desktop fixes it.
Updating the GPU driver fixes it.
It seems that different users have different ways to fix VRC startup failures.

Hi, is discord trying to run the overlay on VRChat? In the discord settings there is a list of games and options on if discord should overlay. It's on the page that has the shortcut to toggle the overlay.
Personally I have the overlay off, and never have trouble with discord in background when using VRChat.
Edit: Went looking for it today, and under Activity Settings "Registered Games". My VRChat has a Overlay disabled (last icon is red)

It does not seem to matter if you are on a call or screen sharing on Discord, it seems to matter if Discord is running or not.
There was an update on Discord the day this problem first solved. I think it was November 2.

Discord's overlay settings are off.
If you keep Discord running, VRChat won't start no matter how many times you operate it, but as soon as you close Discord, it starts successfully.
Regardless of whether you're making a call or screen sharing on Discord, the problem seems to be whether Discord is running or not.
