Video players seem to crash VRChat after latest update

Nothing in the logs apart from that is connecting to a twitch stream. Then nothing. And the game completely crashes.
Happens instantly when someone links the stream to the world or about 5 seconds after I join a world where a stream is playing.
Not sure if it's related to an AMD 6900XT Graphics card. But doesn't effect everyone.

Do you force Vsync by any chance? Disable that and try again. Fixed it for me

Some videos players still lag out and have glitchy visuals on current patch, crashing is fixed however video players still only work sometimes

After updating to 22.11.2 video players no longer crash VRChat, however video feeds of most video players have issues properly displaying visuals. Sometimes the video behaves normally, but about 80% of the time a video will loop half a second's worth of footage for 3 to 6 seconds, then update to where the video should be and continue looping again from that point. It's very jarring to watch, and re-syncing a video player does not fix it. Audio does not de-sync at all in this way.
Edit: Backpatching my AMD drivers to 22.4.2 fixes the issue.

Endorgan: Can you clarify this a little? Perchance you're experiencing some stuttering with the video? I've began experiencing this issue and it's become a little annoying. Will be making a new report soon, if you happen to also experience this issue.

BejeweledBalthy: It was video feed stuttering of a sort yes. Normally I'd expect a stutter to hang on a particular frame and then either desync a little bit or catch up to where it should be, but this was much more visually aggressive. The stutter was present in every video I had attempted to view, though I don't know if it would occur with something like a twitch stream. The stutters weren't consistent in when they would occur or duration, but a video couldn't go 10 seconds straight without at least one happening. Rather than being merely annoying they were unwatchable for me. If I weren't as acclimated to VR as I am it probably would have been nauseating. I attempted a reinstall of both VRChat and a clean install of the most recent AMD driver on the day I made the above comment to no avail. I have not experienced this stuttering at all since setting my drivers back to AMD 22.4.2.

This seems to be back, even with 22.11.2 drivers. I just crashed in the same style in a world with a video player. I had a mirror and personal mirror up and sometimes the video player would show a green screen and then recover. I was in the world for several minutes until my drivers crashed.

The latest release of AMD drivers includes a fix for this issue. If you are currently using an older driver version as a workaround please try updating to the latest version.

AMD released 22.11.2 which says it has fixed the crashes, i've tested it out shortly and it seems to have fixed worlds I had the issue in previously, hopefully some other people can test and see also
