Setting up account via steam date of birth verficiation does not work with UK date format on system

When setting up an account via steam the date of birth field is verified according to the system's set date format.
I had a UK date format set on DD/MM/YYYY on my system.
The setup did not verify any date where the date in a month exceeded the 12th.
Example: 11/18/1990
I changed the system date format to the US date format MM/DD/YYYY and then the setup worked once restarting VR chat.

Would also like to quickly add that those that are in a region where this issue occurs will still pass the birthday validation check if their day of birth is less than 12, however, those that do pass end up with the totally wrong birth date on their account. Something that is currently not modifiable on a Steam account.

Just in case, just want to add that it's with any regional date format which includes the day before the month, and not just the UK.
