While trying to save on physbone components on my "good" rated avatar, I used one physbone component on an object with two children which was placed on my head. Then constrainted those children to different parts on the head. (Jaw and Muzzle)
This works great but causes the nameplate to incorrectly be placed high up above my avatar.
Steps to reproduce:
  • Open the "Avatar Dynamics Robot Avatar PC" sample.
  • Find "Hair-Back-1" under "Armature > Hips > Spine > Chest > Neck > Hair-Root"
  • Add a "VRC Parent Constraint" to this object
  • Point the parent constraint to the "Head" bone and Activate.
  • Upload the avatar with the constraint ON
  • Name plate is WAY too high up (and the physbone acts and displays incorrectly in the client if the component has "isAnimated" turned on)
The documentation mentions not mixing a physbone component and a constraint component under the same GameObject but unless I'm misunderstanding it, this is a different issue.
