Build 1861, currently on open-beta, has updated AVPro to 3.3.6, which should address this issue.

_tau_ I just tested Build 1861 (beta) on PCVR (using Virtual Desktop). The videoplayer works normally, but the flickering is still there. The flickering only stops when I use the VRChat launch parameter “--disable-hw-video-decoding.” Build 1861 didn't fix the flickering issue for me.
ps: i'm using a merlin based videoplayer

Olli42: I'm afraid that might be something to report to AVPro upstream then?

Scratch that, we may have found an issue that caused the update to be incomplete. We'll have more in the next beta update.

[1370]AvPro Screens Black Frames

This bug has been hard to reproduce however I may have some leads.
1.This seems to be an issue with multiple AvPro screens.
2.Have lower frame rate (I only really find this in Vr)
3.The further away you get from a one of the screens the more likely it will occur.
If any further information is required I will try my best to provide more. I have seen this happen in a few worlds, Bellow I have a video that shows the bug in action. Over the next few day I will try to build a list of worlds that I can replicate this issue in.

It has been ages, and this hasn't been fixed yet. I get it - upgrading AVPro in VRC might be tricky, since it's a new major version - but can we at least have a workaround that ships with VRChat for the time being?

Its been months since I have been having this issue and more and more of my friends are starting to see the black frame issue with multiple video players since the sticker update.

this has gotten so much worse lately

It seems that the
--disable-hw-video-decoding
option cures this problem.Of course CPU usage will increase...
