'Missing Required Bindings' pop-up warning appearing too frequently

The pop-up warning about missing required bindings has been appearing too frequently in the same session and has become a bit of an annoyance. Especially considering that the only 'required' binding I’m missing seems to be for the mic toggle. It wouldn’t be too bad if there were an option to 'confirm and don't display this warning again.'

This started happening for me yesterday. I have reset to default bindings and only unbound mic toggle and it still triggers this, that is all it takes. Not sure why it started happening out of nowhere though.

Still experiencing this every single day on VRChat on the latest builds. My controls screen shows everything bound.
I contacted support and listed my steps taken, but naturally got a nothing burger of a response "Please review the articles below for more information about the update, its changes, and how to customize the controls."
I have never changed my bindings, I have never unbound any VRChat control, yet I get this error every single day I play

To be clear, the microphone binding is not checked by the code for this warning. It specifically only checks for:
- Menu
- Interact
- Move
Did you unbind any of the above? Do you turn on your controllers before or after starting VRChat? I'm fairly sure something else is amiss here, but I'm having trouble reproducing this consistently.

_tau_ All of which are binded for me and I'm still getting the error. I'm using a Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop with forward tracking data enabled. The bindings have been customized, but not in a way that should cause them to flag. The error only shows up once in a while and is very inconsistent.

_tau_ They're all bound. I found that the popup happens when I'm in the dashboard while loading into worlds, although it's not the only instance where I had it pop up.

_tau_ I found a way to recreate the issue! While loading into an instance, open your steamvr dashboard and click something Enough for VRChat to forget the controllers. Then after loading it, close the steamvr dashboard. You'll get the error

Thank you for all the details! I believe I have found some causes for this, although I'm not 100% confident yet. We may end up shipping some incremental changes to this and if it still occurs for anyone, look into specific cases later. The SteamVR Input API is unfortunately not the most reliable thing to work with.

How long I'm gonna get terrorized by this warning every time I launch the game?
Just because I refuse to have mic binding. I never used binding for that for the 6+ years I play and I never had problem to open menu and click the icon to unmute from there.

This error should probably list what required bindings it considered missing. (or print them to logs) The user should be able to click

to ignore it for that session or don't remind me
to not be warned about specific bindings being missing. For example, on Vive I've opted to completely remove haptics, including the ones bound to Global -> Haptics -> Left/Right hand Haptic but I now get the missing required bindings popup. The warning is unnecessary, my binding setup is usable.

This comes up every single time I play. I have never customized my bindings, they're bone stock default.
What am I supposed to "reset" my default bindings to, default??
This pops up every time I boot the game, meanwhile every single one of my buttons is bound to something and works as intented.
My setup is SteamVR , AirLink, Quest 3

this, im having the same issue, as far as i know all my bindings are set up, infact i had to set up additional bindings to get my radial menu back, yet it only started considering bindings to be unbound after i added new bindings, but i didnt remove any bindings.
id rather just ignore this popup indefinitely as i am not missing any functionality.

Yeah this popup is really annoying.
The only solution I've found in the meantime is to bind "missing" buttons to an absurd chord I'll never hit.
