This is referring to the keyboard as used on InputField/VRCUrlInputField and various places in the menus such as world search. VR mode.
When typing at quicker speeds using two hands simultaneously, the keys often get stuck in the "pressed" color even after they have been released. To replicate:
  1. Open world search in the VRC menu
  2. Use your left hand to press the Q key. Leave the key held down. Do not release the trigger.
  3. Use your right hand to press and release the W key
  4. Now release the Q key
You will see the W key returns to its normal idle color, but the Q key stays stuck in the gray pressed color. Having two keys pressed simultaneously, even if just for a split second, is very common when typing at higher speeds with two hands. I've noticed as I use the keyboard during a VR session, it tends to accumulate multiple visually stuck keys, since the state of the keys does not reset when an input box is closed and reopened.
This happens on both PCVR and Quest
I should note this is not a new bug, this has been happening for a very long time
