  1. Enable webcam face tracking
  2. Disconnect camera (autoswitch occurs, doesn't reflect that in selection menu)
  3. Reconnect camera (it doesn't switch back to the selected camera)
...
  1. Switch to different camera and switch back (now it's using the correct camera)
I encounter this often because I have a webcam and then a higher quality camera that works over USB, but it overheats if its stays plugged in for too long. I unplug the 2nd camera and VRC says it's still my selection even though it's not connected. When I reconnect it I need to select my regular webcam and then select the 2nd camera again just to load into it
