Hinge/ Character Joints Broken with Update.

The new update broke Hinge Joints. Character Joints have been broken for a few months, I just accepted it was due to something added, perhaps how Camera is connected to us locally since it still worked for everyone else on their screen. But it seems the new update also broke Hinge joints. Basically Local for just the player the joints spaz out and flip out all over the screen. Below are some clips to demonstrate.

Every single avatar in this world uses the method for touchable Physics I released how to do a few months ago. This video explains how so you can be aware of exactly how it is done.
Hopefully this helps fix it. If it was removed intentional please release that in patch notes and I will take down the video as I'd like all the people that created avatars using it as well as future creators to not spend their time working with this feature.

Example in unity and in game i have a item set to follow behind me using a configurable joint
locally i cannot see it working it sticks to me like glue
but for everyone else they see it work as it does in unity
meaning the mirror copy is not showing joint setting/rigibodys either

After updating to unity 2017.4.15f1, it seems that Joint components are being invalidated in the world using the CombatSystem (eg Battle Discs or Steel'n Gold).
As a result, the installation type display ceased functioning. Please fix to invalidate only Connected Body as before.
I made a display by fixing the coordinates using FixedJoint,but it was broken by the update.

Fixed Joints/rigid Bodies broken in new patch

Patch for 2018.3.3 has suddenly made fixed joints break assigned locations and hover above the avatar. For instance I have a ball that tracks my hand by rigid body and fixed joints, but at a random time the ball no long is at my hand but has shot out to a distance above my head. The fixed joint no longer tracks position of the rigidbody, only rotation. I am forced to switch avatars to reset it.

found out about that back in april - https://youtu.be/2HKEJdCoWRE - at that time it was ok, since the hair was just flying around. But later it got so messed up... the hair wich I put the joints on was just stretched to infinity... I basically had two giant faces from my head going into the distance.

Tayou: Your problem is a different issue. Attaching various things to the head will break locally due to how VRChat hides the head by scaling it down. The fact that joints break when not on the head now means that something has changed in a recent update which is why it is being reported like this.

Observer.: oh, ok. Is there a workaround? Could I create a second bone acting as fake head and connect the hair to it? Probably not yet, since the joints are broken, but if they were working?

Tayou: Already attempted to create a second head. Any bone in the amrature childed to the head will be scaled down with the head and anything external using physics will cause the transform to become desynced from the bone IK solved transform. In addition anything not directly attached to the head will not hide correctly from the camera potentially blocking the player view. As far as I know there is no known solution for attaching things to the head in VRChat that also fixes the behavior locally.

I have not tested on my avatar collision avatars yet but I have encountered this when doing chains with character joints and had to remove the colliders from the joints to get the expected behaviour of the joints back locally.
