Hackers use "Moderation kick"
complete
Bob
A lot of my friends, has purchased modified clinet from an hacker and use it just because it has Anti-kick solution. They do not disturb people, don't abuse moderation kick, they use it just because other people with modified client can kick them for an instance any time.
Also hackers can use bot to follow the player, and kick him every time he enterd to public or friends+ world. Some of my friends are suffering because of this. Just because they don't have modified client with anti-kick.
This separates people and causes negative emotions. Some of my friends don't want to enjoy VRchat anymore until this problem will be fixed.
As a content Creator, I'm really looking forward to Udon, Unity upgrade and other features. But it's doesn't matter if people will not play VRchat or I will need to pay hackers for anti-kick client. So the solution to this problem must be in priority.

Changes to how moderations are enforced were made a couple years ago now addressing the concerns here

Got kicked out just when i started to make some new friends. nobody was toxic or something. 50% voted to kick you out. So many months and still no fix. Lame

Please handle vrc devs. People literally witchhunt me and my friends with this exploit lol

"Anti-Moderation" is useless when it comes to the photon exploits which the players are abusing.
The reason why they are creating chaos by using automated bots to kick people is to make the devs raise their eyebrows and get their attention to patch these exploits. They have tried to contact the devs multiple times with fixes and instructions but the devs reply with the middle finger and they don't give a shit. They realized that abusing it hard is the fastest way to get it patched.

ImTiara: The reason is that they can. Or it benefits. Otherwise, they would send bots to the development team or moderators who play vrchat. They can also track online streamers on twitch and send them bots to pay attention. But they don't do that. Suffer only ordinary people who enjoy VRchat.
Nope
In my worst expectations i couldn't imagine the case when moderation kick feature that should be validated server side can be replicated by any hacked client. This shows just how low the security and competence is in VRChat team.

Nope: It feels like NOTHING in this game is checked server-wise. The servers trust every single client 100%. Zero security.

Demirramon: Do you know about filtering enabled on games such as ROBLOX? It is a concept that doesn't allow the client to modify serverside scripts, and it worked so well in ROBLOX that the exploiting community is dead.
Now imagine if VRChat used that along with IP spoofing against clients that attempt to grab it. Perfection.
Demirramon
FurriestWolf: I think that the problem is that the client does everything and the server just says "ok" and lets it happen. It shouldn't be that hard to make a couple of checks in the servers. I mean, I only have about three years of experience with coding and my own website already checks if the user has permission to do any action server-side. I can't believe I'm saying this but it has more security than VRChat and it's a one person project. The rule number one of securing your app/game/whatever is never trust the client and always check server-side.
Demirramon
I'm not 100% sure how Unity works but I would bet there's always a way to make every action go through the server, cause every programming language I've used has that.
