Getting Error Code 429 after login in game
closed
JackalClaw
Game logs in fine, then goes to black
Error code 429 pops up immediately after and hitting okay does nada
"You are traveling too rapidly. Please wait and try again later. (Code:429)"
This only started with this update
Diagnostics I've tried:
Restarting the computer, tried both SteamVR and Non-VR modes, Open-Beta (Yes I now know it's the same version), and reinstalling VRChat

Hello! Thanks for reporting this. Is this issue still occurring after the latest update? If so, can you provide your pc specs?
JackalClaw
StormRel It was fixed by simply uninstalling the game and clearing out VRChat's folder in LocalLow

_loud_: I'm sorry this is still happening! However, this appears to be an issue for user support. I would recommend going there and explaining your issue.

Been having the same issue, cleared all my caches, changed my wifi settings, uninstalling, both modes, nothing.

Im having the same issue. Ive tried everything i can think of except getting a new PC. I tried the moblie app and that works, so i don't think its an account issue. The recent update has to have done something to mess up ours system's ability to conect to an instance.

I factory reset my computer and that worked. I hope you can find a better solution though.

JackalClaw I tried that too, but it didn't fix it for me. I don't know why factory reseting my pc worked, but that's how I fixed mine.
