Generic rigs animations are local only - do not animate for others

Using a generic rig as provided in the SDK and generic avatars now animate locally only.
Anyone else in the world just sees you in whatever your T-pose-equivalent pose would be for the generic and you slide around, unmoving.
This is affecting older avatars as well as freshly uploaded avatars.

Walking animation on generic rigs appears to only play once for others but doesn't loop. After the first time it plays it then doesn't trigger again without switching off the avatar and back onto it.

Ruuubick - Designer: I'm having the same thing. Falling animation plays when moving. Do we need to use a different animation controller? Tried a re-upload, but that didn't seem to fix it.

Tried with a pre existing avatar, a newly uploaded avatar using live sdk (so unity 2017) and with a newly uploaded avatar using sdk3 (unity 2018)

Can VrChat developers comment on this please? This should be trivial to fix. Just turn off IK for generic rigs.
