Gaslight bug

Joined a user on my friend list, but I can't see the user in the world. No avatar, no nameplate, nothing. Does not appear on the "HERE" list in the world. But does appear in the log files. When using udon a teleport udon gimmick that's in the world, I can actually teleport to that user.
Already contacted someone that explained it's a rare Gaslight bug and statistically only happens once a year. So I assumed that this will be fixed when that person logins again the next day.

This is still the case. And I'm pretty confused now.

I got the gaslighting bug too last night. My friend (call them friend 1) and I were hanging out by ourselves when we decided to join onto another friend (call them friend 2). I joined off of friend 2. And friend 1 was nowhere to be seen. Not even in the instance player list. I was talking with friend 2 for a few mins before I asked where friend 1 was. He looked at me like I was crazy. He asked me if I could see friend 1. I said no, and I rejoined the instance. The moment I rejoined, I could see friend 1.
This has happened to me before with other people, and the only fix is to rejoin the instance. I just checked the vrchat logs, and friend 1's name did not show up in the place where OnPlayerJoined events happen.
I'm on build 1552. Is there anywhere I can upload my log?
