Full body Jittering when turning head
tracked
Benji
When sitting with legs forward or other positions similar moving or shaking your head in VR makes the legs jitter/shake in the direction the head is moving, like a fixed joint going wild from the previous version, this only happens in the beta
Gif of me shaking my head with the legs jittering/shaking
I'm using Vive trackers and Vive headset, happens in all avatars I've personally tested.

this is still very much an ongoing issue much less than it once was but is still quite noticeable.

I have tested this extensively. It doesn't matter what headset, or tracking. All jitter remotely when moving their head. Now someone has made a "fix" for it, but it requires every user to have unity knowledge as well as upload their own avatar as well as OSC understanding, so it's more of a "band-aid" than a fix.
I've a friend who has a quest2 with haritora trackers
A friend with a vive with kinect tracking
A friend with a quest2 with kinect tracking
A friend with a index, with tundra trackers
a friend with index, vive AND tundra trackers
a friend with vive and vive trackers.
All circumstances of tracking have this "jitter" to anyone else looking at them.
the only way to "stop" it is to open a menu, such as
"avatars" or "worlds" and then turn your head, and your body stops shaking.

Head movement while sitting in Fullbody creates body jittering for others
Crispyseaweed
While sitting or laying down in fullbody, other clients see my body jittering left and right when I turn my head. This does NOT appear locally, only for other people. It is NOT Avatar specific. This has been replicated by multiple users.
I believe I first noticed it last week, but it may have been there for a while.

Full body jitter when lying down
Free hugs․․․
When the user uses full body, lies on the back (or side), and rotates the head to the side then the whole avatar will jitter a lot.
It seems to happen whenever the head rotates past a certain angle. Speed is completely irrelevant here. So if someone lies in a position where the head is close to certain angles then their avatar will continuously be all over the place.
This is a different behaviour from these other reports as in this case even slow movement of head triggers the behaviour and it applies to the entire body (including the head). It may be related though as all of them happen because of the IK:

Free hugs․․․ I'm merging your post as well because it is indeed the same issue. What you're describing is a different method of triggering it that does not require fast movement, but it is the same underlying issue.

Legs jitter remotely when shaking head (full body)
Event Horizon~
I tested it with a couple of friends and different avatars via discord screensharing.
So if you have full body and turn the head left or right while holding the feet still on the ground, they will move together with the head on remote clients and shortly afterward correct themself.
Locally it looks completely fine. With the exception of dynamic bones. For dynamic bones it's local and remote.
This seems to happen with vive trackers and the kinect as well.

This is definitely still an issue. Re-opening and merging with some other tasks

This behavior also occurs locally on spring joints
_blairx
