Also, people in the same instance can be seen "In Instance".
When I try to log in at the official site, I get "Failed to Log In Application error" is displayed.

If you say it also happen on browser, could you post API response available from Inspector on browser?
I sus it is either increased rate-limit matter as endpoint.
You could check "Network" event and result from Web Developer Tools on your browser.
(Usually shorcut to window be, F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I or Right click on page then click Inspect)
