Flip Camera button not working properly

The flip button in the upper left corner of the camera UI, which rotates the camera lens 180 degrees, is not functioning properly. Pressing the flip button not only rotates the lens 180 degrees, but also flips the image left and right.

I've been thought that saved photos never flip, but found that the behavior of a smartphone’s front camera varies.
While the preview screen always acts like a mirror, the flipness of saved photo seems to depend on model or camera app setting (as far as I tested, iPhone saves non-flipped ones in default).
There may be two sides about flippness:
* should be flipped; what we see in preview is what we get.
* should not be flipped; front camera acts like rear one.
