Fix for all active Audio Sources being cancelled when certain avatars load

Avatars with a number of audio sources (More than 10? I haven't tested) seem to cancel all audio currently active when the avatar loads in, including world audio and other avatars' audio that's currently active. It doesn't matter if the number of audio sources on an avatar is all active or disabled by default, if it has a high count of Audio Sources, it cancels everything else for some reason.
Wondering if there is a planned fix for this, this started happening after the latest patch with networked IK and such. Scared to use some of my avatars now in other worlds that rely on world audio since it just breaks those audio sources.

Hi Colonel McKernel, has the issue gotten better since 2019.2.4 or is it still a common occurrence?

We have a partial fix for this in the upcoming VRChat release. It should up the number of audio sources able to play at once from 24 to 63. Passed 63 sources playing at once, individual audio sources will stop working as you see now. The next (and full fix) is to make sure the higher priority audio sources (probably world audio) does not break due to lower priority audio.

Can confirm that this happened to me while testing a world. I didn’t know why this happened at the time, but seeing you post about this and mentioning “when someone switched to an avatar with many audio sources” made me remember that this bug happened as soon as someone in my world switched avatars. All world audio cut off entirely.

most worlds do have a restart music button, but yes, i also noticed this and it was weird
