Short version: there's an attached video
Long version:
  • Publish any avatar
  • Increase the scale 6x (of the avatar, not of the armature)
  • Move the point of view to the correct position
  • Publish the avatar
  • A user use that avatar
  • Another user joins on a quest, and they don't have the avatar turned on
  • Quest user will see the fallback or the impostor
  • The fallback or impostor is 3x bigger than of the avatar size, with a very small hitbox in comparison
I think it broke in a patch 2-3 months ago
Here's a test avatar for proof (it's the most basic fbx. no phybones, fx layer, etc)
Attached are
  • a pic of how it looks on PC (avatar is 10.74m). Everything is fine
  • a video of how it's broken on quest
It's kinda gamebreaking, because the avatar will have a small hitbox, username is hard to find, and it becomes really hard to block or to activate for quest users
