Emotes, such as with the Inventory System, don't work if people aren't looking at them

Emotes don't seem to activate unless you're looking at someone. I notice this when I spawn something and people who are looking away and then turn back around don't see it.

This should be a feature request for an sdk way to have avatar with multiple states, as now people are just making weird workarounds to somehow make this work. Often causing a lot of additional lag that would not be needed if this would be supported by SDK in some way.
Sadly currently they seems to be only focused on worlds and maintenance and avatars are not getting any features, so that will probably need to wait ;/

That's unfortunately just how it works in general. Animators on avatars do not activate for a user if the avatar is not currently rendering for that person (i.e. they aren't being looked at).
Only way around that would be to always have avatars rendered and that would be a massive performance loss in most situations.
