Contact Glove user unable to interact with VRChat completely
available in future release

In the 1490 Live Update, “Finger Tracking Exclusive Mode” is now enabled by default.
However, when it is enabled, users using Contact Glove unable to perform any operations.
Contact Glove is a controller that is designed to use both hand tracking with finger curl and the attached buttons and sticks, but that option only allow hand tracking input.
Not only is this confusing to Contact Glove user, but it also makes it impossible for the user to interact with VRChat because it cannot pinch or do other gesture due to the lack of range of movement. (It only supports finger curls.)
It was disabled by default while OpenBeta, so it seems that no one noticed this problem.

Bit of context: The default was changed in response to an issue with finger tracking it caused, but we may have a different way of solving that. In case that works out, we'll reset the default state to disabled.

_tau_ I would like to ask you an important question, what should we do if we accidentally enable “Finger Tracking Exclusive Mode” with a controller that cannot be operated when this setting is enabled (other than using another controller to change this setting)?

Sayamame: It's a very valid point, which we thought about internally as well. In a future update we may make that toggle available in desktop mode for example, although that is unfortunately not quite as easy as it sounds.

I just got the Contact Sheet for the Quest Pro earlier the same day the update got pushed, and I barely managed to use the menu.
I managed to turn off "Finger Tracking Exclusive Mode", yet it still behaves the same except it's only slightly easier to click on menu buttons.
