Can't see any avatars

I’m playing on the Pico 4 and ever since a recent update I can’t see any avatars anymore. Sometimes (rarely) I can still see a fallback avatar, but most of the time there’s just… nothing. No avatar, no robot, no impostor, no fallback, literally just empty space with floating nametags.
I’ve already tried pretty much everything in the settings:
cleared cache
turned safety settings off
maxed out avatar download size
enabled/disabled impostors
restarted the game
restarted the headset
uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Nothing worked so far and I’m honestly out of ideas. I tried it on my Android phone, and everything worked fine there. So it seems like it might be a Pico issue?

I just wanted to add a quick note: I’ve also posted this issue on ask.vrchat for additional visibility. And I retrieved the output log from my session and added it here along with some more screenshots. From what I can tell, the log shows that many avatars are not being loaded due to performance checks, I guess? Seems they fail the initial validation and are never downloaded.
