Candy Codex losing progress

My candy codex isn't saving my progress and I didn't get the badge upon collecting 8 different candies. Everytime I put mu codex away all my candy goes away.
- Open codex
2.Collect candy
- Turn codex off
- Turn codex back on, all candy is gone.
If I keep it open and collect the peices in one go, the codex does an animation but I don't get a badge.

Alright, seems it might only affect us with 10 character IDs

I’m having this same issues as we think it’s the old user id’s that are having this issue. My codex reset several times and its not saving progress, and I’ve completed it twice now.
Still no badge.
