Bug Report: Skeletal/Fingertracking Sync Failure on World Transition

Description:
I am reporting a persistent issue where my finger tracking (Valve Index Controller) freezes for other players after a world transition. While everything looks correct on my end, remote players see my hands in a static pose. This issue persists across multiple avatars and occurs regardless of the avatar's specific setup.
Observed Error Logs on Remote Clients (when viewing my avatar):

Troubleshooting steps already taken (none of these solved the issue):
- OSC Reset:Did not fix the sync for other players.
- Manual Tracking Reset:Used a custom FX layer to cycleVRC Animator Tracking Control(Animation -> Tracking). No effect on network sync.
- Hard Reload:Trigger + Grip + Menu button combo did not restore the skeletal state for others.
- Unity Settings:EnabledUpdate When Offscreenon all Skinned Mesh Renderers.
- Blueprint ID:Detached and re-uploaded the avatar with a fresh ID (Pipeline Manager).
- Hardware:Confirmed SteamVR is using default bindings and sending skeletal data correctly.
Conclusion:
The logs (
Recovered 0 Network IDs
and no avatarId
) strongly suggest a server-side synchronization failure during the "handshake" process when entering a new instance. The VRChat network layer appears to fail at mapping bone IDs to remote clients, even though transform data is being sent.Log In

I have encounter more people with that issue. Even those only using the Quest 3 controller where the hands stay in the default pose and finger guestures not showing for others only when de- and reshowing them.
Also made a fresh avatar with the newes GogoLoco and still won't show fingertracking most the time. For some it works, then at the next world not anymore.

Are you using avatars with older versions of GoGoLoco? We had a bug while back that was fixed, but older GoGoLoco versions relied on the buggy behavior

I'm really glad to know that I am not alone in this boat.
I am honestly so frustrated because it has ruined videos for marketing events, and such for me when someone else was recording, or pictures with other people.
As of right now, it seems we don't have much visibility with this though...

Yesterday I met another person where now I couldn't see the fingertracking and it was the actual Quest 3 fingertracking and not the Index controller like I use. Also a complete different avatar as mine. So seems it's a fingertracking issue in general and most likely on VRChat side.

Yes it's exactly the same behavior. So if others have that issue too it's very unlikely avatar related? I tried turning hand gestures back on and off again, but that didn't "unlock" fingertracking. For my friends who knows about that issue they have to deshow and reshow me for make it work on their side. So VRC is not sending the information how it should.
I myself use full index and body tracking. And yes I gesture a lot too just to hear. I never saw your fingers move for month, not once. He didn't even know I had fingertracking. Super frustrating.

I don't know if it's the same issue we're having but when I unlock gestures, people see me do animation gestures even if my whole avatar is set to tracking for index. Then when they unshow and show my avatar, they see me tracking again. It's frustrating because I tend to gesture a lot and people just don't see it untill I tell them that.
