(Beta) Selfie expression not working

When I enable the "selfie expression" option, my screen freezes for a few minutes, then an error message appears: "selfie expression disabled: incompatible webcam or in use by another application."
I'm using my PC webcam and I don't have any applications running in the background.

I had same problem and cause was the aspect ratio of webcam.
The wiki says "Any webcam with support for a 4:3 ratio."
I use GoPro Webcam but it has only 16:9 option. Set up OBS to crop sides and make aspect ratio 4:3 does work.

It's a bit of a roundabout solution, and since 16:9 webcams are common these days, it would be really helpful if native support for them could be added.
